24 pattern-woven strips joined selvedge to selvedge by whip stitching to create a larger cloth; three different warps (variously colored and striped) among the strips; blocks of weft faced patterning and brocading spaced throughout the strips intermittently within passages of plain weave; colors include red, yellow, green, blue, black and white; five abutting blocks of weft faced patterning and brocading at the ends of each strip form a border along the top and bottom edges of the cloth when the strips are joined; the top and bottom edges are un-hemmed, ending in a short fringe.
