A stylised landscape with figures in vertical composition, given from bird’s-eye view. In the middle of the painting is a fortification – monastery surrounded by walls and rich vegetation; below are a few female figures of nuns (three are standing en face, three are sitting in white carriage pulled by a green horse, two are in front of the carriage). Below is rich vegetation and semi-circular brooklet with white and blue ducks swimming. On the top is stone wall with a gate and a village path with a few human and animal figures. Rašić located pastoral scenes with recognisable architecture and subject matters into his native ambience. Transmitting his vision of a village, he portrayed stylized, idealized image of tradition, collective life and exuberant vegetation of Crni Vrh region. Characteristic genre scenes, condensed into smaller groups of figures were arranged around the central motif, most often a presentation of church, house or significant event. In vertical routes of the composition, typical scenes from rural everyday life were depicted (I. Jovanović).
