Dutayeon Valley on the northernmost part of the DMZ is a clean area untouched by human beings for several decades and is the largest habitat of Manchurian trout in Korea. The Manchurian trout is a freshwater fish of Salmonidae, inhabiting clean and cold waters at the upstream of rivers only.
