Antoine François Prévost d'Exiles (1697–1763), known as the Abbot Prevost, was a French author and novelist.
Of his very remarkable works, the most concise is L'Histoire du Chevalier des Grieux et de Manon Lescaut, which was the inspiration of several operas, especially Manon Lescaut de Puccini.
