Six entwined Renaissance couples, elegantly dressed, have reached the post-dessert course of their banquet. Music plays, and soon the ‘love-making’ will surely intensify.

Only it won’t. A cataclysm appears outside the window and will strike at any moment. Christ’s second coming and his pronouncement of the Last Judgement will consign all sinners to hell, including these joyful people!
