Manufacturing coils for L3 experiment

L3 coil factory in Hall 867 of the Prévessin site. In the foreground 6 cm thick, 90 cm wide aluminium plates are joined by electron-beam welding to form octagonal half turns. At the work stations in the background the weldings are checked and cooling pipes connected (photos 35-37).
