Map of Derbyshire

This map of the English county of Derbyshire is bordered by images of fossils found in the county. It includes includes images of two caverns: Pooles Hole (now known as Pooles Cavern) and the Devil's Arse (now called Peak Cavern). Both caverns are part of the seven 'wonders' described by the Philosopher Thomas Hobbes in his 1736 book 'De Mirabilius Pecci' ('The Wonders of the Peak')
