Map of the Lower Silesia entitled "Silesia Inferiore : dedicata dal P. Cosmografo Coronelli, All'Illustrißimo, et Eccellentiß. S. Gio. Battista Gradenigo Senatore Amplißimo", by V.M. Coronelli, published in Venice in Atlante Veneto. It was an adaptation of a map of the same area drawn by an excellent Silesian cartographer Jonas Scultetus and published for the first time in 1638. This work conveyed to the public the then reliable cartographic picture of the region. In Ossolineum Library this copy of V. Coronelli’s map is part of Tomasz Niewodniczański’s important collection, containing maps of Silesia along with plans and views of Silesian towns from 16th–18th centuries, donated to the Ossolineum in 2002. It is a loose-leaf map, dimensions 45×60 cm. Scale ca. 1:450 000, eastern orientation. In the upper left corner is the title in a cartouche decorated with animal and plant ornament, in the lower right corner are 2 linear scales on a stone block and 3 human figures.
