Map of the former Kingdom of Chile

This map is entitled Geographic Table of the Kingdom of Chile. It comprises the territories of Chile, the southern border of the Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata, Patagonia, and Tierra del Fuego. With scenography and information on the fauna, with drawings of different animals, ships at sea, and mythological beasts. San Felipe, an uninhabited settlement of the expedition of Pedro Sarmiento de Gamboa, is indicated along the Magellan Strait.
