Original Latin title: "Terra Sancta quae in sacris Terra Promissionis olim Palestina". From: Blaeu, Willem Janszoon. Atlantis appendix, Amsterdam, 1630. no. 15, Asia Signum p. The map was drawn by Jodocus Hondius the younger, who died in 1629, before its publication. Blaeu bought the plate and replaced Hondius’ name with his own. He included the map in his first atlas and all further editions leaving the date 1629.
