This map shows the upper Danube valley around the town of Riedlingen. It was created to document the borders between the lands governed by the House of Waldburg and the smaller territory of the House of Hornstein-Göffingen. Such panels have only existed since the mid-sixteenth century; they were almost always the result of territorial conflict.
