The R. Bliss Manufacturing Co., of Pawtucket, RI, produced high quality games and toys in the latter half of the nineteenth century. Although the firm got its start manufacturing screws and clamps for piano and cabinet making, it is recognized today for brightly colored chromolithographed toys and games. "Dandy Dudes," a simple marble game for younger children, shows an example of the kind of lithographed images the firm produced.
