Designer Marc Bohan and his daughter Marie-Anne play chess in the private apartment of "Le Closeau", their home in Fontainebleu, France. The chessboard is made of yellow and white metal, and the pieces, cast in a modern minimalist style, are brass. In the background, below a wall decorated with lithographs by Niki de Saint-Phalle, is a worktable consisting of a glass slab atop a pair of brass sawhorses.
