On the left, a Dior suit with a slim pencil skirt and fitted jacket with a deep peplum, the jacket double-breasted for three pairs of buttons up to below the bust, with a single button at the bust. The jacket has a collar but no lapels. The model wears black gloves, a rectangular clutch bag, and a small hat in the form of a oval of fabric worn over the forehead. On the right. a black and white tweed Balenciaga suit and matching stole. the collarless and lapel-less jacket single breasted with bust pockets, wide belted waist and short peplum, the skirt a slim pencil cut. Black gloves and small round skull-cap. 1 of 94 sheets of fashion drawings. Inscribed with the designers' names, descriptions in French, and dated on the back.
