This banner was created by Wythenshawe Whisperers, and hung on the 'Welcome to Wythenshawe' sign, as you headed into the area of South Manchester. The group created the banner using a bedsheet, during the Rashford's campaign to overturn the governments decision not to provide free school meals during the summer holidays.
The campaign was successful, benefitting 1.3 million children in the UK.
Rashford transcended from the pitch to politics and is one of the most influential campaigners today.
