Margaret Sloan speaks at a press conference

Margaret Sloan was an early editor at Ms. Magazine, and spoke alongside Gloria at college campuses. In 1973, she founded the National Black Feminist Organization. She went on to co-found the Women's Foundation, and serve as an organizer for the Berkeley Women’s Center and the Feminist School for Girls.
