"Formula Cinema" is a project that collects the stories and fragments of the life of the local community through the work of internationally-renown artists, directed by the world-renown film director Mohsen Makhmalbaf.
The film "Marghe and her mother", a perfect synthesis between European and Middle Eastern culture, is a true participatory and universal tale, imposing itself as an example of a renewed contemporary neo-realism.
Seminars, workshops, projections and film literacy activities accompanied the phases of the project, while artists and creative communities from all over the world talked about the choral process of "Formula Cinema", thus experimenting with tools and technologies ranging from pre-cinema to virtual cinema, thereby creating an exhibition of strong interaction with the public to obtain an interactive cinema.
