"I’m glad I’ve lived this long to see it". At 98, Neville could finally marry the love of his life. This photo was taken a few days before the Australian Parliament finally passing same-sex marriage into law. They were both excited and nervous about the prospect of finally marrying after being together for 39 years.

Biography:
Louise Kennerley is a staff photographer with Fairfax Media, working for The Sydney Morning Herald and the Australian Financial Review for over 20 years. She has also worked with BRW magazine as Photographic Editor and a staff photographer with Cumberland Newspaper Group working predominantly on The Glebe and Inner-City News. She has won the ACFID Media Award for coverage of the Papua New Guinea Health Crisis and was awarded third place in the Nikon-Walkley Storyology Slide night for her Roller Derby photographic essay. Louise has been a finalist in other photographic awards, including the Moran Photographic Prize and the Head On Portrait Prize.
