Marriage pendant (tali)

The marriage pendant (tali) of cut work gold is of long rectangular form and arched on top. The jewel is inset with an image of goddess Lakshmi standing on a lotus within an arch surmounted with two female attendants and two deer below and a bell in the middle. Fine decorative details are incised on the thick gold sheet.
