The 300 kg Marsupial 'Rhinoceros' (Neohelos stirtoni) was one of the large, browsing herbivores that roamed parts of Australia some 12 million years ago, during the Miocene epoch. Well preserved fossilised bones from this, and other extinct species, are found at the Bullock Creek fossil deposit in the Northern Territory of Australia.
