Kubišová, Gott, Neckář… These are just some of the names of the many singers for whom cooperation with the Dance Orchestra and Czechoslovak Radio helped launch a successful career. Contact with the radio was essential at that time. It organised music competitions and broadcast popular hit parades. Czechoslovak Radio also made annual contributions to the preparations for the Bratislava Lyre popular music festival in the second half of the 1960s.
