Banner, cream woven silk ground (originally pink), oval motif of appliquéd cream twill woven cotton lame with burgundy (purple) adhered lettering of cotton twill 'Mary Wollstonecraft Pioneer', polychrome embroidered floral sprigs, diagonal striped border of alternating cream silk and burgundy velvet, stripes bordered with silver metal flat braid and burgundy silk cord, burgundy twill woven cotton lining with letters stencilled in white paint 'Women's Suffrage', pink wool fringe, nine loops of synthetic or silk flat braid to hang, pink silk cord with a tassel at each end threaded through hanging loops.
