As a testimony of the identification with the country, in 1950 AMIA donated a mast to the Municipality of the City of Buenos Aires that was inaugurated one year later in the Plaza 1º of Mayo (1º of May Square).
There, between the years 1833 and 1897 functioned the "Cemetery of the Dissenters", burial place of the deceased who were not of catholic religion, among them also Jews.
On the right, one of the Jewish gravestones moved from the Cemetery of the Dissenters.
