A deflated rugby league match ball from 1911/12 Australasian tour, presented to Broomham following match against Wales in 1911. Stitched brown leather panels, with rubber insert. Broomham's tour diary relates receiving the ball, "...left for Ebbw Vale...arrived to play fifth match against Wales...defeating them by 28 points to 20...received the ball after match...4000 spectators...very hard game."
