Eugène Delâtre created this engraving for the cover of Maxime Maufra's album "En Bretagne," published in 1894. Since 1892, Maufra had frequented Delâtre's engraving workshop, where he developed his prints. The composition shows Maufra seated facing the sea, in a setting of waves, true to his favorite themes.
