Royal Order of the Crown Medal awarded to Giulio Segre in Italy. Later on, while still in Italy, his medical diploma was taken from him. He arrived in São Paulo in 1939. Donated by Ariella Pardo Segre.
The Medal is designed as a white-enamelled Maltese cross, featuring a central disc with a gold crown on a blue enamelled background, and gold adornment between the arms of the Maltese cross in a zigzag design. A red satin ribbon with a white strip running down the center sustains the Maltese cross.
