This medieval Jesse window is filled with figures from the Old Testament – including knights, kings
and prophets – painted in glorious colour which can be viewed in detail by zooming into this image.
First created in the 14th Century, the window has been restored through the centuries. A small panel
near the top of the window is inscribed with the date '1859' alongside the names of people involved
in this restoration.
