Medieval tile

Single fragment of medieval ceramic floor tile, from a border, decorated with a dog or pig probably as part of a hunting scene, found during excavations on the site of Cirencester Abbey and Saxon Church, 1964-66. Produced at Nash Hill, Lacock in the later 13th or early 14th century.
