Meeting of Yanomami shamans

Forty Yanomami xapiri thëpë (shamans) came together at the invitation of the shaman and leader Davi Kopenawa. Held to reinforce the shamanic traditions of the group, the meeting enabled an exchange between the most important shamans from the different regions of the Yanomami Indigenous Land. The two day meeting was interspersed by the shamans performing with xapiripë spirits, Watoriki village, Demini region, Amazonas, Brazil.
