Mehbubjan was a popular singer who recorded around 70 songs in just a matter of 4-5 yeras (1931-36). Though her biographical details are scattered she was indeed an accomplished musician and a best-seller who sang pure classical, semi-classical, devotional songs in Marathi as well as Kannada.
