Melbourne Cricket Club membership ticket, season 1959/60

Melbourne Cricket Club membership ticket from 1959/60 season. Rectangular ticket is burgundy with gold detailing on the front. Features a single-lined border which contains a stylised Melbourne Cricket Club monogram above a bold 'R' with dates below it. Reverse side features a tan background with black text. Reads, "No. R1759......1959 / ISSUED TO...... / Ian Johnson (printed signature) SECRETARY / THIS TICKET IS ISSUED SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS DEFINED IN RULE VB. AND IF USED BY ANY OTHER PERSON THAN THE MEMBER TO WHOM IT IS ISSUED IT WILL BE FORFEITED. / AVAILABLE TILL 31ST AUGUST, 1960 / NOT TRANSFERABLE". Large red 'R' printed on background. Brass loop hole in the top centre through which a burgundy lanyard is attached.
