Membrane

<membrane> is an artwork that merges audiovisual performance with installation art. Through live manipulations, the performers engage in a playful exchange with their generative system. Three-dimensional, volumetric images hover between the performers, caught in a haze of rising smoke, and make audience to experience strong synesthesia.

The works of Cadie Desbiens-Desmules and Michael Dean capture close relation between sound and visual beauty of wave patterns. They realize waves by combining optical illusion and properties in a visually beautiful way, offering strong and organic audio visual experience.
