Subject: Y.M.C.A. Workers on board S.S. Patria
1. The work performed by these gentlemen, Messrs. A.R. Forsythe, C.H. Forsythe, Dr. Guthrie and J.H. Rhodes during the voyage has been of a highly efficient nature and I believe has been conducive to the health and amusement of the men. THese genlemen in addition to conducting many entertainments, saw to the purchase and distribution of candy, cigars, cigarettes and chewing gum, which articles they distributed in a very equitable manner. All seem to be men of high character and well fitted for their work.
