Henrietta Pilkington's artwork has a very similar viewpoint to Henry Gritten's painting 'Merri Creek near Dight's Falls', and was painted at around the same time. It depicts a stream running through a rustic landscape, with water tumbling over a snag in the foreground, and a herdsman and cattle drinking from the creek.
