Message

Although the original title of the work is "Message", who is represented in it is a messenger, and what the painting shows is the development of a narrative in a determined time and space, as this man rises above the earth and in his flight crosses the surface. Thus, his body relates those spaces that can be recognized even if in some cases they are barely indicated. In the upper part of the left side what we see is an arch, minimal expression of a possible arcade or a door; the zigzag outline shows us in the lower half a staircase and, finally, a window indicates that on the right side there is a wall. The relationship between these spaces is given by the central position of the body and its directionality: it is directed to the right to enter a different space through the window.
