Metal Wood - Head

Metal headed "woods" were first manufactured in the 1890s. In the years between concept and the ultimate demise of wooden headed clubs, many materials and designs were tried.

One of them was this solid aluminium design from the Australian manufacturer Carnegie Clark. It was part of the development process, but the design did not last.
