Mexican Drum

Large, two-sided hand drum with rawhide stretched over a wood frame and lashed with hide ties. Each drumhead is decorated with a radial geometric design in red pigment, featuring stylized arrow and sunburst motifs. A woven rawhide loop handle is affixed at the top for carrying or suspension. Accompanied by a wooden beater wrapped with padded cloth at the tip. The decorative elements and construction suggest traditional Mexican craftsmanship, possibly for ceremonial or musical use.
