Cylindrical receptacle placed on the jamb of the main door to protect the family home, as it contains biblical passages.
A royal crown appears on the top. The ornamentation is plant-like: flowers, acanthus leaves and a vase placed under the hole that allows the manuscript inside to be seen, although in this case the manuscript is not preserved. It also has two green cabochons.
The pendant has an inscription in Hebrew with the first two words of the manuscript it keeps: “Listen, Israel”. These elements are a symbol of the presence of God in the houses, and are sometimes also placed on the entrance doors to the bedrooms, granting protection to the family home.
