Unlike all other scenes, the Pope is here dressed complitely in white, covered by a red little umbrella. It has been noticed how the latin inscription, placed at the base, indicates falsely the portrayed Pope with Paolo IV however of the proper Pio IV. Paolo IV, instead, commissionated to Michelangelo the fortifications that Passignano displayed on the background.
