Micronesia - Preservation of Reel-to-Reel Recordings of Chants, Dances, and Stories of Yap State

To support the continuation of work begun under a previous Ambassadors Fund grant to preserve and disseminate cultural information contained in reel-to-reel recordings of traditional dances, chants, and stories of Yap state. This state radio tape collection is highly susceptible to deterioration and desperately needs to be cleaned, indexed, and digitized for preservation and use.
