The device (current converter), produced by the company Rangoni & Puricelli Martigoni in Bologna, was used for electrotherapy treatments by using the Galvanic and Faradic currents. On the dashboard there are the control equipment and a circular dial with a graduated scale to regulate the milliamperes. It lacksof the original electrodes that were made of plates of thick metal covered by leather bearings or a sponge material soaked in a saline solution.
