Microscope, following the model of Edmund Culpeper (1670-1738).
Around 1720, he built the first microscope model consisting of two systems of
lighting. When the body to be observed is translucent, the illumination is done through
an adjustable concave mirror, located under the sample. In turn, when the body
to observe is opaque, a biconvex lens located next to the sample is used, for which
the light is directed. It has an accessory drawer with lenses of different magnifications and
samples on ivory lamellae.
