Colchide is very famous for the story of Medea, daughter of its king, who left with Jason who was here with the Argonauts to get the Golden Fleece...Armenia major has three very famous rivers, Eufrate, Tigri, Arasse and it is filled with very high mountains, on which the Ark of Noa set down after the flood...Babylon, first called Caldea, whose main city was Babilonia of the Assyrian, famous for the hanging gardens of Semiramisse."
