This milk container is made of wood from muamese tree. It is prepared using a curved knife and the carrier is made of a cowhide rope. It is used by the Orma for storing milk and making ghee. The jar is kept near the wall of any Orma house. men usually drink from these jars but they never drink from the small ones which are regarded to be for young children.
