Doucai was a major feature of porcelain decoration during the Ming and Qing dynasties, making the colors on porcelain rich and the images lively. This plate is made of white material with white glaze. Open mouth, shallow curved belly, short circular feet, unglazed foot roots. The mouth edge is decorated with two blue and white string patterns, the inner bottom is decorated with pine, bamboo, plum, and stone patterns, and the outer wall is decorated with a qin and chess pattern composed of nine ladies. The bottom is a double circle, two lines, and six character "Da Ming Hongzhi Year System" blue and white regular script style. This device has important reference value for us to study the social life of the Ming Dynasty.
