Similar to paired knives, twin swords are composed of two swords of identical appearance, with only one side flattened and embellished like normal swords, and the other that will meet when put into the scabbard left in its natural original condition.
Each of the twin swords, weighing 570g when combined, has a triangular pommel and a crescent-shaped cross-guard that was casted together with the blade. Both the cross-guard and the pommel are embellished with three engraved plum blossoms, which have been favorite patterns by Chinese artists as they have been seen as symbols of noble characters such as integrity and perseverance. Its grip is made of wood with clear grains, and its blade that was polished is shiny as brand new.
