Miniature box made by Kobayashi Rekisai (1884-1959) and his companions. It is made of ivory. The plant depicted on the lid is turnip. There is a miniature kinchaku (Japanese traditional pouch) in the box. It was made by Nakada Minoru. He was a collector of Rekisai's miniature crafts and supported his work.
