Minotaur Head with Sutures

The helmet Minotaur Head with Sutures was part of the MAK anniversary exhibition EXEMPLARY. 150 Years of the MAK – From Arts and Crafts to Design in 2014. The designer Neri Oxman conducts research at the intersection between Nature and latest technology such as digital fabrication and construction methods. This futuristic conceptual work shows the connection between mythology, technology, and speculative design. For the production of Minotaur Head with Sutures Stratasys FDM® und PolyJet™ 3-D Print were used.
