The way that the figures floats in the canvas is related to the surrealism a word pretty used to describe Morales work. In this piece are define three groups of figures, the feet, people faces and the hands holding a woman. All related in different ways, giving to the viewer the opportunity to interpretate the meaning of the paint. The main focus on it, is the woman and the rest are until certain point subordinated to her.
The ochre color in the painting is not common in Morales work.
