A Roman missal (Lat. Missale Romanum), the most important liturgical book of the Roman Catholic Church, containing texts of the fixed and variable parts of the Holy Mass. The Missal gives guidelines for the celebration of the Holy Mass, and instructions for special celebrations related to particular holidays, and times of the liturgical year.
